Spring Forward with VCM: April Reminders & Community Tips

March 31, 2025 BLOG Feature

As the days get warmer and the flowers start to bloom, April is the perfect time to refresh your home and reconnect with your neighborhood. At VCM, we’re committed to supporting thriving, well-maintained, and welcoming communities—this season and every season.

Here’s what you can expect (and do!) this month:

 Seasonal Maintenance = Community Pride

Now’s the time for homeowners to do a quick spring check and help keep the neighborhood looking its best. A few simple actions make a big difference:

  • Mow lawns, edge sidewalks, and tidy flowerbeds
  • Check gutters and downspouts for clogs
  • Power wash driveways or home exteriors if needed
  • Replace burned-out outdoor lighting for safety and ambiance

Remember, well-maintained homes contribute to curb appeal and overall property values—thank you for doing your part!

Gentle HOA Reminders from VCM

Each community we manage has unique guidelines designed to preserve harmony and appearance. As a friendly reminder:

  • Trash & recycling bins should be stored out of view when not in use.
  • Street and sidewalk parking should stay clear of fire lanes and walkways.
  • Exterior changes (like paint, fences, or landscaping) may require Architectural Review approval—check your community standards or reach out if you’re unsure!
